Brand Identity
In collaboration with Tiffany Vidal, the owner of Bag It Up Boutique, I was tasked with creating an identity and new logo for her new apparel brand Ember & Sky. The brand was inspired by the embodiment of an iconic Southern California upbringing which includes long days at the beach, bonfires, night stars, and, of course, palm trees.

I created the visual identity with an emphasis on dusk in coastal California. The logo mark was inspired by the smooth, yet unpredictable motions of the ocean. It's uneven edges creating an organic mood while the rest of the visuals focus on a modern look and feel to balance the inspiration of the brand. The primary colors, patterns, and icons of Ember & Sky help reiterate this mood.

Effectively integrating the brand's visual components

Having established the desired aesthetic through the logo and color palette, it was now time to implement these elements. To align with the brand's minimalistic and coastal identity, I crafted a blend of subdued colors, wave motifs, and graphics to showcase the brand's versatility. These designs were subsequently applied to create the brand's stationery, hangtags, and to guide other aspects of creative direction.
