A brief introduction to Jac, the designer behind the creative

I’ve spent the past 10+ years working across different areas of design ranging from print to digital. Whether a client needs a poster for their storefront, a dynamic email campaign for their monthly promotion, or an entire brand refresh, I’ve got it covered.

Today my days are mostly spent planning out design strategies and directing a small team of employees while completing different creative projects. In addition to traditional graphic design, I love to dabble in event planning, which allows me to further express my creative nature.

When I’m not in full “design” mode I spend the remainder of my time playing with my wonderful daughter and our energetic Boston Terrier, BMO (who is one of the handsome pups featured in my portfolio).

On this project I was enlisted to work with Kristen Acosta, a current elementary school teacher and blogger, to create a new elevated brand.

With her original titled blog, “The Mind of an April Fool,” gaining traction among fellow teachers, she new it was time to rebrand her website. And after several iterations of logos we both decided a more professional approach would best fit her growing audience, thus the old name was eliminated. Now focused on her professional name, Kristen Acosta, a new brand was born.
